Perlis Inland Port Development Reaches Key Milestone

KANGAR: The development of the Perlis Inland Port (PIP) has reached a critical milestone, with earthworks and foundational infrastructure now 70% complete.

Positioned as a flagship project under both the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) and the SG4 Infrastructure cluster, PIP will fundamentally transform Perlis into a major cross-border logistics gateway.

The facility is designed to streamline cargo movement between Malaysia and Thailand, significantly reducing transit times and offering a cost-effective alternative to saturated west-coast ports.
