Kelantan Launches RM50 Million Smart Agriculture Initiative

KOTA BHARU: To bolster national food security and increase farmers' incomes, Kelantan has officially launched a RM50 million Smart Agriculture Initiative.

The fund will provide grants and low-interest loans to agropreneurs adopting Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, automated irrigation, and drone-assisted crop monitoring systems.

As a key component of the SG4 Agriculture & Food Security cluster, the state aims to transform traditional farming into high-yield, precision agriculture, ensuring a resilient food supply chain for Malaysia.
